Her dam is Grey Owl's Cora-Lee, daughter of champion bull Grey Owl's Bearach, and her sire is Grey Owl's Broderic, son of champion bull Skye High Koal. Merida is a stocky girl with a level topline and shows good potential. She loves treats and being brushed. Other well-known farms in her bloodlines are Sunset, Trafalgar, GH, JAR, DH, and Dunvegans.
